Interesting variety in tyre choice for Bahrain.

I'll start adding these to the race threads I think.

F1 drivers with that statement are a short step away from a strike. Then something HAS to happen.

I honestly hope it does, doubtful they'd have the balls to do it though.

Yeah. Among many other Brawn returning rumours.

Like Bernie he was a team principle and of course great engineer however has he got the business acumen of Bernie? I'm not so sure. He'll be great for racing, but will he be great at getting people to buy into F1 and make the sport more accessible and entertaining?

Bernie, as mental and as old fashioned as he may seem, has been in his spot for a long time not only becasue he's a tenatious midget T-Rex, but becasue he's good at what he does.

Change will inevitably happen, but I think Ross Brawn will only be a small part of it. I think there will be others in a more business ortiented sense also taking some of Bernies responsibility if indeed he is stepping down in some way.

Brawn would look after the technical side of F1 which is what excites me, as he knows what's good for the sport.

Zak Brown will look after the commercial and marketing side of F1. Whether that includes brokering deals with teams/tracks I don't know. Perhaps Chase Carey or similar will do that.

I was expecting the usual plain stuff from Formula1.com with that vid.
But it's easily the funniest content they've ever made, shots fired everywhere!

Max will be represented on Timing screens with VER rather than VES this year.
Previously Vergne was still a test driver at Ferrari and therefore held the name, as he's now departed Max applied to use VER successfully.
