It's getting better, just read a rumour Button is coming to Ferrari to replace Massa :D

That one has been around for a while now. Still seems more plausible to me than Raikkonen back to Ferrari.

At this rate we'll have:
Vettel and Button at Ferrari
Alonso and Raikkonen at Red Bull
Mercedes unchanged
Mclaren promoting Magnussen to a race drive with Perez

Its almost as bad as when Leggard was commentating and he would randomly select a driver name and a team name (as if from a tombola) and decide that they were linked.

"Latest rumor is that........ Alonso......will be joining...........Caterham......for next year!"

Sounds more like Bernie is playing the threats game regarding the Tax issues than anything else. What better way to get them to play ball than to publicly announce they don't have a race next year.

Also been rumoured that Anthony Hamilton was seen visiting Maranello (although I don't buy it for a second).

So that means Alonso, Massa, Hamilton, Button, Vettel and Raikkonnen driving for Ferrari next year, leaving Sauber, Caterham, Marussia and FI to fight it out at the back.

That makes sense, at least he can use the crap car excuse.:o;)

Alonso has been linked with a Red Bull drive!

Sounds like a pretty awful sim. :P

Very noticeable how long 8th sounds. Given that they're having to declare gear ratios before the season, I wonder if they'll reserve 8th gear for those faster tracks with long straights (Monza, Spa) or if they'll run it towards the limiter for the likes of Barcelona and have it bouncing off the limiter on those faster tracks.

When the eight-speed gearbox was announced, a lot of teams said they wouldn't even use eighth gear on some tracks, so I imagine the plan will be to keep it long for the circuits with very high top speeds. The clip definitely sounds strange with an extra gear in there. I think that will take more getting used to than the V6 engine for me, to be honest.

The engine noise is a recording off their dyno tests of the new V6 just stuck over a recording on one of their simulator laps.

For me, it's alright. Nothing particularly nice about it. Bolt two of these engines together and you'll have a proper engine. :D

I think they were referring to the likes of Monaco, Hungary, Melbourne and Singapore than the average track.

Lotus confirmed it will be using the passive DRS at Spa, so could be nice and quick with Mercedes there & Monza.
