Theres talk of a French GP coming back on the calendar, Paul Ricard would suck though, its not a very good layout for F1 and theres practically no spectating

And 2nd DRS at Melbourne could be between turns 2 and 3?

The Euro GP should just be dropped imo.

I agree the most likely replacement at the moment is a 'French GP'. I recall Bernie mentioning a 'Paris GP' or a new track near to Paris? Can't see Paul Ricard happening, needs to much work done to it.

Thing is, there are plenty of existing great tracks all accross Europe. Get a couple of those on an alternating Euopean GP deal, rather than wasting time building another Tilke Drome or snoozefest street track.

But it would need an entirely new pit and padock complex built. The existing one is tiny.

With Bernie being Bernie, if he were to spend the money on Ricard, I'm sure it would then be a fixture of the F1 calendar, plus be virtually guaranteed racing from most/all circuit FIA series like GT and F2.

He'd make his money back on it, then probably sell it.

FIA GT already races at Paul Ricard.

But remember, Bernie isn't FIA, he's FOM. His interests are F1, GP2 and GP3.
