Following on from my 'best looking GP3 driver' post, meet the best looking NASCAR driver:

I would.

Who did you have in mind? Other than Ms Long that is..

There's a couple of women in DTM that are holding their own, plus there's a bunch of girls in lower single seated formulas and the rally cross scene has quite a few in the junior classes too. How much higher they will go remains to be seen, but there are certainly a lot more female drivers around now than there used to be.

Rubens to race IndyCar this year with KV Racing. Pleased for him.

Rubens Barrichello confirms move to IndyCar

His first oval race will be the Indianapolis 500 on May 27th. Former F1 driver Jean Alesi has said he will compete in this year’s race as a one-off.

Barrichello will race the Dallara DW12 IndyCar which is being introduced this year.

The new design features rear wheel surrounds designed to limit the chance of cars getting airborne when contact is made, as happened in the crash which claimed Dan Wheldon’s life last October.

Speaking of Indycar, looks like Bourdais, Justin Wilson and Katherine Legge are back in full-time drives. No word on who's taking the lone MSR seat.

I think Franchitti's set for yet another title with Chip Ganassi. Didn't know he's a cousin of Paul di Resta too...

Can he beat Vettel?

Hmm... I dunno, he doesn't interview well.

But it does mean we get to see the simply awesome Suzuki Liana again! God that thing is such a beast!

Not fussed about the interview ;) but you never know it might be ok. I'm looking forward to his lap in that amazing car. :D

Just a quick note. Just read about the upcoming Mercedes A25 hot hatch and it is going to use some technology that Merc had developed for the cancelled 1.6l F1 engines. Sounds like Merc were quick off the mark as those F1 regs weren't about for long before they were superseded by the V6s plans.

Makes you wonder how far down the V6s turbo path people might already be behind their closed doors...

The whole idea behind the I4 was marketing.

"Look! The new Renault Sport Clio. It has a 1.6 litre turbo, the same engine that is in our F1 cars! How cool will you look in McDonalds car park with THAT!"

At least one has been fired up. IIRC Mercedes and Renault have run theirs.
