I don't get the thin nose idea. Surely that just means it's potentially more likely to puncture into bodywork and other objects it might hit :s
I really wish they'd go properly low nose, rather than basically flat from the driver up to the front wheels - it would aid driver visibility to no end...

Isn't there rules on car length, and wouldn't that make the car too long?

No. The nose doesn't stick out any more than the current nose tips. There is just a minimum width half way down the nose and then a smaller minimum tip width, which is different from the current single width all the way.

Great, so the cars next year will have a penis sticking out the front :(

that is exactly what i thought
who will have the biggest?

Eww.

That's just an appendage for ramming things with. They should mandate it's made out of foam or something before someone gets speared with it.

It is just designed to fly off or crumple in a crash, like the vanity panel is. The crash structure starts way further back.

It's unlikely to cause any damage to anything.

If any team turns up with that the FIA should tell them to get lost.

I know the stepped nose was bad and we got used to them, but this is something else :p

Interesting sounding engine on that Porsche, can't really tell what it is! Sounds nicely different to both the Audis and Toyotas of last year though, some variation is always nice.
