I'm thinking about Brands for the Blancpain series. Its a pretty decent field. Although the Brands race is the Sprint series which will have a different set of entrants to the Endurance series in that Monza video. I don't know how many teams are planning to compete in both series?

Not sure, i only started tuning in to the series earlier this week. Although i was quite dissapointed to find that the brothers racing team audi isnt at brands with their amazing livery.

Good god it's awful :D

Here's the full stream of Monza if anyone is interested:

Anyone watch the Senna last teammate documentary? I found it interesting if a little difficult to watch. I was only 9 on that weekend but I still remember it like it was only last week.

A really nice touch was not just brushing over Ratzenberger's death, but getting David Brabham on to talk about it.

I'm certainly looking forwards to the rest of the shows this coming week.

Watched it tonight, very moving. It was everything I expected, Damon Hill is good at narrating too!

Thanks for that, I'll be going to the Sprint series race at Brands next month, and then will go to the Masters Historic the following weekend as well.

I was thinking about going on both the Saturday & Sunday for the Sprint series as the qualifying race is on the day before and is 1hr long anyway.

I laughed that he is also a kept man to the tune of approx £100m /year in regards to the divorce settlement :D

Yes, it's rather, surprising and incredible. Although it was $100mil and £60mil that makes it no less incredible. It appears to be that he put a disgusting amount of cash in some tax haven trust fund for his family but not in his name. So when going through a divorce he effectively has no cash on hand and the trust is all for his wife/kids so she has a epic income per year from the trust, then the divorce effectively see's her as a billionaire and him as having very little.

Pretty mental but she's getting **** loads of money as are his kids, as is he, and he's still making more.

Disturbingly successful man but it still comes across as hilarious that he appears like the kept other half from the divorce.

Yet another billionaire avoiding insane amounts of tax though.

And yet it was all legal.....

well it is Bernie so that is questionable :p

I don't disagree with you. Everything that comes out of his mouth is questionable.

Makes his defence against the bribery charges seem valid though, doesn't it?

It does add a spanner into the works. I'm sure the only person that knows the whole truth is Bernie himself, which poses a problem for prosecutors and Bernie due to the above.

To be fair to the man, if I had a choice between handing £1.2 billion to my children's trust or the HMRC, I know where my money would go.
