Looks like Bottas is close to signing a new Williams deal. Can't really blame him, good car, great team. He's got a good chance of winning a race this year too I think.

That doesn't quite work does it, there is no doubt Vettel is good but you can't use the yardstick of those 9 races as things were stacked in his favour to do so. Namely being RBR continued developing the when no one else did, a team mate who wasn't really a threat and reliability. If Mercs drivers were a similar skill level as Vettel and Webber, rather than team mates who take wins off each other, then short of reliability problems the top driver would be on for winning every race this season.

Mclaren have been chasing Alonso and Vettel this Summer for 2015 ;)

Alonso wouldn't say anything other than "I'm staying at Ferrari" on the eve of Monza.

Lets see what he says afterwards !
 
Not surprised, but I like the fact the cars look very different. It's nice, it feels homely like the old days, even if it is a small part.
Be nice if they didn't look silly and still left room for very different car looks. Not that it's ever bothered me, technology and design above looks.

So going on from this article. Who do people think the best current driver is?

For me.
Alonso is the best complete package
And Hamilton is the fastest driver.
