Being a JB fan, I'd obviously like him to stay at Mclaren, if they can actually build a decent car again one day. Second fiddle to the best driver on the grid would be alright, could work very well.. do accept that he isn't likely to win another WDC unfortunately.

Either driver at Williams would be quite interesting, but can only see them gradually falling back again and Merc/Mclaren/Ferrari maybe Red Bull keeping at the front with their budgets after a couple of seasons of developments with these rules.

Not sure who Ferrari would choose. Bianchi or Button. Or someone different. Hulkenberg might get that top seat he's been on the cusp of for years?

Bianchi will fund Marussia for another year and then join Haas for 2016.

Button will stay in the McLaren family and then join the Honda WEC team to make an assault on Le Mans, where Alonso will join him in an F1 engine powered Ferrari LMP1.

Nissan are in from next year too. LMP1 looks like it could be amazing for the next few years, even if only some of the rumours come true.

Would be nice to get a massive shake up of drivers around the pitlane, Alonso to McLaren, Vettle to Ferrari and Button to RedBull would be quite fun :D

Certainly exciting times for WEC, have to admit I usually only keep up to date with Le Mans, I should really make an effort to catch the other events too.

Sounds like they are planning to offset the drop in power with the reduced rear spoiler size?

Makes you realise just how powerful drag is if lopping 2 inches off a 2m long wing equates to 125bhp!

The Cup cars are already getting aero-sensitive on some tracks, to the point where drivers will have it break loose on them if another car is close by at the wrong angle (notably at Kansas and Pocono).

The idea might be to get them to stop relying on the spoiler to hold the rear in check and build in some tightness into the car setups, thus slowing the cars even more. It won't work, of course, so expect to see a few more cars end up investigating just how safe the SAFER barriers are at these tracks next year....
