McLaren Honda has a bit of a fat arse.

It doesn't look that much bigger. The bodywork around the exhaust exit is fat anyway on the MP4/29, only this MP4/29H has the little slots in the side of that arse, presumably cautionary while they learn more about the engine's quirks, and the likelihood the engine will change considerably before homologation.

Rallying just isn't the same as it used to be with Sainz, McRea when Loeb was just starting.

Too many similar cars run by different teams to really get a feel for it imo

That scrote who drove onto Brands in his gf's Polo has been jailed for 8 months.

Haha, oh what a shame.
He's lucky they didn't do him for keeping his girlfriend with out her permission.

I hope the organisers and race drivers file a law suit against him for lose of earnings.

You do realise who will fund the prison cost and then JSA\training costs (good luck getting a job with a conviction) for him?

He was self employed with his mate Zack according to bookface. Personally I wouldn't let them anywhere near my house...

What we supposed to do - send him to Australia? ;)

Either it's a little over the top considering the trespass, or other (serious) crimes aren't punished enough. Or both. I don't really see how locking this guy up for 8 months accomplishes anything.

The courts are making an example of him to deter the other entitled, "do what I want when I want" YOLO chavs havin' a go innit.

I was a bit concerned when at a club motorsport at Oulton about a month ago. The paddock and pit garages were completely open while a race was about to start. I could have driven a road car through a pit garage and out onto the track without anyone so much as noticing.

I get that, but reckless endangerment isn't what Cottle was charged with (it doesn't exist as an offence in England). The Fun Cup drivers\participants want to file a class action lawsuit as well so I doubt we've seen the end of the issue. Just for reference, the priest who walked onto Silverstone at the British GP a few years back got a 2 month sentence...

Brands isn't the easiest track to just drive onto, he would have needed to go through an access tunnel first to get to the pit area. Why that wasn't secured is anyone's guess.
