So has anyone been following the Global Rallycross Championship. Round 2 was at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend, featuring a bloody massive jump.

For those that have never seen it, although it's named the Global championship, races take place only in the states and one round at the X-games. Drivers include Ken Block, Marcus Gronholm, Travis Pastrana, Dave Mirra, Rhys Mullen, Tanner Foust to name a few. The track consists of long straights, jumps, chicanes, wet and dry track, shortcut and 4 - 6 cars running alongside each other.

Some real good action this weekend, especially in the second to last race with just one car finishing.

Here's a youtube link to all the races from the weekend:

Cheers for that :) Tanners last jump was hilarious.

bernie doesnt care about the fans anyway he would be quite happy with 0 grandstands and just the marshalls aslong as he got his fee from the promoter and the corporate sponsors had a few boxs above the pits

Uh, what?

Next to Kamui Perez is a saint. And I like the bit about him needing to tone it down to be able to turn his talent into results.... Like his 2 podiums this year aren't already considered 'results'?

Its transfer talk though, so comes with a free packet of salt for every reader anyway :p

LOL WUT

The leading driver from the midfield teams in the championship, who is widely regarded as the best at keeping their tyres, needs to take it easy?

edit: Checo, you are faster than Fernando - slow down!

Well, one podium finish could be a fluke. Another one, that's a pattern emerging. And whether he's being groomed as a Massa replacement or not, the time to talk him up is now - as a signal to other teams and to Pérez himself that he's become a seriously interesting prospect to Maranello.

Nothing odd about it.

Er...

Sergio Perez 37 points
Kamui Kobayashi 21 points
Felipe Massa 11 points

If that isn't results, what is? He has more podiums (2 vs 0) than Massa in the 1.5 seasons Checo has been in F1, and a better average finishing position in 2012 (7.7 vs 11.3).
