Sounds promising! Alpine are also not a bad team to be cutting his teeth in the sport, should hopefully be able to grow as a driver there. Look forward to seeing what he can achieve.

Seems Piastri is almost ready to sign on the dotted line for McLaren in 23. So Ricciardo to Alpine then (almost back to Renault)?

Theory is that Alpine's contract with Oscar specifies that if they give him a seat he has to take it. So they announced it before McLaren could to get precedence over his negotiations.
