I watched the world cup in China, so I was quite happy with the coverage. Sport on, they talk about game, sport finish.
I do think the migrant worker deaths are insane, and governing body should have done something and done it way before the tournament started. They didn't though.

When it comes to the LGBTQ+ aspect, I think that's for the people of the country to decide on/protest. It's not my place to complain about their acceptance of other lifestyles/cultures, because I am not from there and don't follow their religious beliefs. Religion seems like a pretty huge thing over there, it's probably offensive to many others for me to be demanding they change it.
Does having sporting events make me think their beliefs are any less outdated? No. Does it make me want to visit these places? No. Do I want to hear sports bundits bleat on about it, whilst making cash monies from the event? Doubly no.

The Wasatch County sheriff's department reported that Block had been riding in the Mill Hollow area when his snowmobile upended on a steep slope and landed on top of him. Block was declared dead at the scene of the accident.

Damn.. RIP.

She has been doing a lot of stuff especially on this vs that. But Ken was the still the heart of it all but we’ll see.

I imagine Goodwood will have some sort of tribute to him this year. He’s always been fantastic driving up the hill.

Yes, absolutely. People landing on their heads having come off a horse, bike etc often leads to a broken neck, now add on a 250kg lump of metal traveling at an undisclosed speed into the mix.

Snowmobiles are very dangerous machines.

RIP

Very dangerous. Fast, heavy and the only part of them that won’t rip/puncture/crush you on impact is the seat.

Pretty much like a motorbike but people very rarely get killed by one in the sense the bike does the killing by crushing.

I guess when it flipped over something must have pierced him as helmets can take a lot of force these days. A bit like Ayrton Senna. His crash wasn't bad (There have been a lot worse).
