I'd take either the Aston or the Merc. All this doesn't feel off-topic enough, so: which pace car do we prefer? This one? The Aston in F1? Or the Merc in F1?
I'm taking the Aston, although my wife would never forgive me for not taking the Merc.
Oh. Won't be doing that then.Might want to get your name on the waiting list. Spent a few years living in the states and did the F1 at Austin, Nascar at Talladega and Daytona but the Indy 500 always escaped me. The initial cost was huge after the waiting list and the resell cost was even worse.
Seems like quite justified sacking, silly man..Jack Nicholl's sacked as Formula E commentator over inappropriate behaviour.
Really felt for Nolan Siegel in the Indy NXT race earlier today. Pulled off a great overtake, was five seconds ahead and then had a driveshaft failure two corners from the end and drifted home in eight place. Those cars sound like angry buzzing hornets, it was an enjoyable race to watch.
Rookie Gold Earns First Career Win after Siegel's Heartbreak

Minis were awesome watching, really enjoy some of the historics stuff. Was laughable how small the minis looked on the circuit, and 4 abreast into some of corners made things "interesting". But, overall, clean racing.BTCC at Thruxton this weekend was a bit meh. Sutton dominating again, but clearly not just a case of the best car - it's a decent car with one of the best drivers.
Mini Se7ens and Mini Miglias were far more entertaining though - highly recommend watching them on a catchup if you want to see some genuinely entertaining racing
Haven't watched much BTCC in the last few years - has the addition of hybrid power units and extra weight from the batteries had a negative effect on the racing?
IOM TT this week, just watched a documentary on Ian Hutchinson, the racing Gods have been brutal to Hutchy who'll not be deterred.
Road riders are the bravest of the brave. Time to watch the brilliant film 'Road' again.
