Your being very defensive. I wonder why also?

Give it a break.
Not even going to waste anymore of my time. You're obviously sore because your 'team' has underperformed so life must suck sometimes doesn't it? Personally I don't care for a team like a football supporter.
Swings and roundabouts, what goes around comes around..

Shane van gisbergen is an absolute beast. First ever time he's raced a NASCAR (yes i know its a series, not a car :p) and he's in the running to win in Chicago with 10 laps to go. Would be an amazing achievement, especially as it's the first-ever NASCAR street race.

Jenson Button qualified 8th as well but got yeeted whilst trying to enter pit lane anad has been bumming around in the midfield since

Didn't see him win but did catch quite a bit of the race last night before bed and saw he was running in 3rd, cracking racing actually, I've always kind of dismissed Nascar a little as ovals for hicks but its come on a lot since I last saw it!

I wanted to watch it, but with the delays I couldn't justify staying up.

Some longer highlights here:

Great to see the big lump V8 Nascars going around a road course, I loved seeing the Nascar going around Le Mans last month too.

Seeing SvG turn up for his first race and then sweep up is impressive too. It's like he was biding his time and just pounced at the end. He's won in a lot of categories he's entered and it's a great advert for Aussie V8s as well.

Hearing other Nascar drivers say "Hes going to head home and say how bad we all are" made me laugh too :D

New calendar released for 2024 including the first two (Bahrain & Saudi) being on a Saturday to accommodate Ramadan.
Japan moves to April with Azerbaijani going to September.

Much more geographically sound calendar..... if you ignore Miami!

It's because Canada wanted a June date still, I don't know why they couldn't have moved Miami to after Monaco though? Definitely makes more sense to have a more 'regional' approach to the calendar from a logistical point of view and an environmental one.

I wish they would drop the four Middle Eastern races, soulless circuits.

To be fair, there is absolutely nothing climate friendly about F1, even the thought of them being carbon neutral in 2030 is ludicrous given they air ship thousands (at least many hundreds) of tons of freight around the world every other week.

That’s before all the fans that come to watch.

I totally get offsetting will be a part of that formula but off setting can be very disingenuous at best. Many off sets follow the concept of paying someone else to promise not to pollute who otherwise would have if you hadn’t paid them and calling it climate neutral. It’s totally bonkers this practice is even acceptable if you really think about it.

Its ridiculous.
If they somehow get a certification of carbon neutrality, you'll know it's a load of BS.

It’s laughable, it just devalues the whole concept.
