I think it’s happening guys. Lewis knew the McLaren upgrades were coming and was waiting to see how good they were ;)

Oh i bloody hope not! Red Bull would destroy Lando. I think he's a great personality but I'm not sure the pressure of racing one of his best mates at the sharp end of the grid with the added pressure of Red Bull would be healthy for him. He had openly talked about mental health before, so maybe he'll have the support to perform and survive. However, I don't want to support an RB driver :D

I think a few teams have their eyes on him to be fair, so it's not unusual his manager will be talking future options, but he's tied with McLaren until the next reg change so can't see any changes happening before then. Especially if McLarens form this weekend wasn't a fluke.

Norris would be stupid to even consider it. Yes it’s a top team but it will forever be a team fully focussed on Max and only Max. He will never be able to fight on an even and fair basis against him. Norris should be leading a team not playing second fiddle for 2/3/4 years. If Lewis retires any time soon then I could see him at Mercedes, but in all honesty my thoughts are he will be the marquee signing for Audi’s first year in F1 in 2026. If his management team aren’t speaking to Audi already they’re seriously dropping the ball.

Second Audi driver will likely be someone German, maybe even Hulkenberg.

DeVries just got dropped and Daniel Ricciardo is getting his Alpha Tauri seat for the rest of the season.

Agree that Lando would be insane to leave McLaren at the moment now that they’ve given him a car that is at least competitive at some circuits.

But that’s exactly the reason. Anyone would choose a car that’s “won” (cough) 3 championships in a row over one that might be competitive.. on one circuit so far?

I also think Lando is totally oblivious to the way RB and Max treat second drivers, and, well people generally.

It's a no brainer for Norris to move to RB if given the chance. I reckon after this season and three titles in a row Max will probably be missing having a challenge. I reckon he's bored this season and wouldn't mind his mate joining him.

Would also be a great PR move for Red Bull. Everyone loves Lando.

Nobody is going to outdo Max; dude is top of his game. RB just need a driver who can consistently finish 2nd or 3rd.

People said that about Vettel until they didn't.

Aside from that race win anomaly, great as it was. He hasn't been up to speed for years.

He was impressive at Renault too, he just lacks the adaptability to perform in a car he doesn't like, and was terrible at McLaren as a result.

Ah yes, the dream to drive for Ferrari. The inability to make rational decisions, pit stops decided by magic 8 ball, the politics that means if a car underperforms then half the team will be replaced with new people, the unending pressure of an entire country and the hatred from the press if you can't deliver both championships in the first 4 races...

Sounds lovely.

Given RBR's past treatment of drivers and the fact it's (currently) Max's team, i think it would do Nando's career more harm than good given he would just end up the Barrichello of the team as @Feek said.
Better to stay at MCL until a number one driver spot opens elsewhere.

And it's a shame about NDV; he should have been allowed to stay for the rest of the season given that he's a rookie and even with an absolute dog of a car, he's still managing to finish (on average) higher than others, ie - Logan who is arguably in a better car.

I think if Perez was performing NDV would have been left at least a few more races, this is all about seeing if the pace Horner saw from Ricciardo this week in the test is still there at a race weekend.
At the age he is Ricciardo knows his F1 career has a year or so left, he's not going to match Max or have delusions about a World Title, if he's quick enough I can see him causing much less tension in the RBR team.

Tsunoda is a Honda driver and is going nowhere near the RBR team, he'll be lucky to keep his AT seat between now and Aston Martin - Honda becoming into being.

Harsh on NDV maybe, but he might have a final chance at F1 if Williams bin Logan Sargeant who arguably has performed worse given the Williams seem at least half decent.
