An 'inquiry' from Hamilton, Lewis's dad apparently. And just because Lewis has denied anything does not have much in it either.
Idle gossip...
Probably his Dad speaking to someone at RB walking along the same corridor and asking out of nothing but personal curiosity about who's going into the second seat at RB. Lewis's dad isn't his manager any more and he's rarely at races these days either compared to previously. Horner stirring the pot as usual.

Aston Martin have got to be gutted that Stroll has thrown away so many points this year.
I hadn't really paid attention to the WCC positions, but they'd have definitely finished 4th if they'd had someone closer to Alonso's ability in that seat.

He feels a total waste of that seat Stroll, I'm still not fully convinced he'll be there next year, was a lot of rumour and there's no smoke without fire.
That said who would replace him? It would really likely need to be a driver that's not on the grid, convince Vettel to come out of retirement? The unproven Drugovich?
If Aston prove themselves fast again next year then they may well have drivers queuing up for 2025 (and who would bet on Alonso not staying on if they're quick)

McLaren extend their engine deal with Mercedes to 2030

Puts any stop on any buyout plans or partnership with Audi/Porsche.

Yeah its going to be interesting to see how the engine supplies pan out, going to be a lot of single team manufacturers if the current expected plans pan out (including Audi and GM/Andretti), I still think we might see Williams swap to either Honda or Audi if the incentives are right.

Mercedes: Merc, McLaren, Williams
Ford/Red Bull: Red Bull & Alpha Tauri
Ferrari: Ferrari & Haas
Audi: Audi
Renault: Alpine
General Motors: Andretti
Honda: Aston Martin

While it’s great to have so many manufacturers it does show we need a couple more teams.

I also still won’t believe a VAG brand will be in F1 until I see one of their branded cars on the track for FP1 in Bahrain.

I wouldn't be surprised to see an announcement first week of December that Audi have changed their mind, there is supposed to be a board meeting early Dec where a decision would be made either way.
