Just seen Christopher Bell do a mini Ross Chastain wall ride on the final lap to get into the NASCAR Cup series finale next week.

Thought they had made that move illegal !

They did this time for "safety" but we all know it's because all three of the Hendricks cars in with a shout were going out. Chevy manipulated the final result for the final 10-15 laps causing the desperation from Bell. Ultimately the format is a bit rubbish. I don't like Larson in the slightest, but the fact a driver that has been dominant all year with 6 wins isn't anywhere near the championship now...

Seems a bit unfair to replace them with an unknown and Hulk. I don’t believe Bottas’s abilities have dropped off that much, clearly the car is total trash. I’d be fuming if I was Bottas with no seat next year and seeing the two new Sauber drivers languishing at the bottom of the field still.

There does seem to be a bit of a rush to grab any young driver who's seen as half decent at the moment in the hope that they're the next Hamilton or Verstappen; I think that's partly what's driving Sauber/Audi to grab Bortoletto - I wouldn't be that surprised to see neither Hulk or Bortoletto even drive an Audi though in 2026

Sauber signing Bortoleto is great news. He's a truly exciting talent, and Sauber/Audi getting holding of a potential top drawer talent is a real coup for them. But dropping Bottas and replacing him with Hülkenberg is pure downgrade madness. I can only assume that he's there because of his high profile in Germany.

Bottas isn't a top talent, but he's still better than fully half the grid.

And Bottas has good experience having been in different f1 teams and could provide excellent feedback to any new f1 team. The 'Hulk' should bring the same though I hope..
