Why is everyone saying Yuki is off to a solid start? He's 15th and RB adapted the car to make it easier to drive - something they didn't do for Lawson... Yuki is driving a car with more downforce on a track that is predomoniately high speed... its not a great look!

Red Bull did the same thing for Lawson in China but it didn't work, it actually made the car worse which is why he couldn't overtake Hadjar in the race.

Tsunoda got much closer to Verstappen in free practice which I think is encouraging for the team and should be expected given his four seasons of experience.

I've seen Lawson and Tsunoda race many times, Lawson was always quicker. That said, Tsunoda has far more Formula One experience than Lawson and it will take time for him to catch up!

Lawson needs to work on his one lap pace, this is his main issue!

Don't remember Berger and Wurz being this outspoken, Lauda mostly made sense to me, Tost and especially Marko are on a different level to their countrymen.

What's their country got to do with it? Marko is outspoken because he's a massive ********, not because he's Austrian or are we just making vague generalisations now?

Nothing really, I was just comparing the views of five men who originate from the same country, you are entitled to interpret my post in any way you wish.

They already have the triple crown, ie. wins in Monaco, Le Mans and the Indy 500, but they're aiming to repeat it all within in the same year. That's one hell of a goal. Huge respect to Zak for turning McLaren around and also directing them to get involved in multiple racing classes. Love to see it.

Don't think he's saying anything anyone doesn't already know there, Max isn't going to hang around out of some loyalty to RB if next seasons cars a turkey.

No pressure guys in the design team but if you don't have any Newey stardust left in the cupboard your team is heading into the doldrums for the foreseeable after 2026.

I don't think they'd ditch Russell or Antonelli though.

Toto has said as much, although what he'd do in practice I don't know. It'd be tough for any team to turn their noses up at Max, but I'd have thought Max would have his eye on McLaren (recent success), Aston (it's the Newey, stupid), or Ferrari ("every driver wants to race for Ferrari"). Merc may return to winning ways in '26, of course, but for now I don't see that they've got much pull over those three. And, as you say, Kimi and George is not a line-up that cries out to replace either of them.
