Motorway cops - cops out of order?

Cocky moron. And how does an 18 year old afford to buy and insure a '54 plate Civic Type R anyway?

My girlfriend also said this, although she said he's probably living at home with his dad, on his insurance and works in a sausage factory.

Not sure where the sausage factory came from though... :D

I AM TOO GOOD FOR SCHOOL I WILL DROP OUT NOT DO 6TH FORM AND GET A TYPE R ON FINANCE INNIT.

omg, full time sausage packing job? yes pls

I assume his 14 day notice was backed by some sort of producer? If it was he shouldnt have been fined and he should have told the cops to **** off if they tried to fine him.

But we all know traffic cops, the bill, crimewatch etc is all staged.

He was a grade A **** and deserved it.

The police acted in the way they did as the car screamed stolen. Dodgy plates and (to their knowledge) they'd just nicked petrol (I know it turns out they hadn't.

And fox, I know :(

If I'm not mistaken, isn't a VDRM (the defect rectification notice) an immediate thing? As in, you must get it done immediately. I think the 14 day thing he spouted was nonsense on his part.

And he deserved what he got, arrogant little ****. He needs bringing down a peg. Or six. He was blatantly driving around with false plates to avoid the scameras.

The guy was a Grade A tool - driving around knowingly on false plates, what did he expect? What possible reason would he have for delaying paying for new plates anyway?

I thought that too. He wasn't driving around on false plates, it sounded like the company he bought the car off cocked up, he was probably waiting for them to sort it and like most 18 year old do - in my experience at least - was leaving it until day 14.

He's learned the hard way, but i doubt £30 will make any differance if he and his family can afford for him to drive that sort of car.

OMG THE BILL IS STAGED?

No he is still driving a car with the wrong plates on he is aware he is breaking the law ,it's all his own doing , if he had changed plates none of this would have happend.

any normal person would get the plates changed asap he had a week surely if you have been stoped once its going to be in the back of your mind that you might get stopped again, that lad deserved a good slapping if you ask me. And how did the 2 cops not ask if that romainian had a licence? they were more concerned about seatbelts!

I did feel sorry for the van driver. He secured his load and it fell off. He got a £60 fine and a 3 point notice!!

The poor guy explained that he secured it and that it was hardly his fault for it coming off. These things happen and it was just bad luck, but no - they gave him the fine! 3 points is a bit harsh.

I understand how dangerous it was, but in view of the fact that he had the correct fitting on the roof and was a genuine guy about it.

He talked himself into that too. Too much mouth.

Ahh, I've just done some digging.

The defect thing is indeed 14 days, but with a "get it done ASAP" thing attached to it. Still, he got himself that ticket by being a moron, even if he was still inside his 14 day period.

The lad's point was that he was given 14days to change his plates, for all they knew - he could be changing them in the next day or so..

because it's illegal, he might have 14 days. but that does not mean he can drive on the road. I expect that's how it works anyway.

He was a grade-A ****. The fuzz should have pulled him over after he pulled off again and given him another £30 fine for driving with a dodgy plate.
