Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord

The original M&B was made by Armağan all by himself with some help from his wife so he is slightly right just not since warband.
That was a looonnng time ago before they became successful with Warband and it would be silly to assume that this is still the case many years later.

Husband and wife team... what? It is a game studio with many employees. Inform yourself https://www.linkedin.com/company/taleworlds-entertainment/

If you are not missing any features (despite economy and diplomacy and missiong being completely broken and lacking) and do not use mods to improve the experience I can only assume that your standard and expectations are not so high. Don't get me wrong, the game is still fun in battles, but it is far from a good all-round experience.

I just hope that people who are piling hundreds of hours into it don't burn yourselves out and stop enjoying it before the full game is released
As the other gent pointed out they were a husband and wife team I read somewhere they still were.

No where did I say I wasn’t missing features it’s early access I’m not expecting a completed game and am enjoying My (read this word) experience so far. As I stated earlier in the thread I’ll do a play through without mods and as you pointed out mods continually need to be updated with the ongoing patches.

yea I got pretty bored after about 6 hours had a castle, a little city thing whatever they are called and about 4 vassels.
then realised the game is kinda pointless right now and you almost constantly get

"you have declared war on blablabla"

reinstalled crusader kings 2 instead

Can anyone tell me why my kingdom keeps automatically declaring war on others?

I'm not even interacting with these kingdoms or any of their vassals in any way, yet still the game is automatically doing this for me. It's getting a bit tedious now... and expensive to resolve.

Is it the game engine that can't handle the big battles? Cos watching my cpu and gpu neither seem taxed when the frame rate tanks >_<

Is the conspiracy mission active? That apparently causes the different kingdoms to declare war on you constantly until the mission is complete. I’m not sure if the mission can be finished as yet either unless the latest update fixed it.

There’s memory leaks and other issues. From what I’ve read the amount of rag dolls in the graphic options cause an issue also especially on the latest patch.

Hmm, maybe because its a buggy mess? Or does that sound like a game feature to you? :D

yea one of the reasons I put this game on the back burner until they finish the quest line.

okay the conspiracy quest does progress but it goes so slow you probably have a thousand wars before it finishes, just seems like a poor choice to have that quest there if its not finished.

Yeah it is, the conspiracy meter is slowly filling up. Does anything actually happen once that reaches the 2000 limit?

I've only had one declare war on me, my problem is the other way around "You have declared war on X". Then I get the living crap kicked out of me by much larger armies all at once.

It is a buggy mess indeed but didn't know if there was something I could do in the meantime to improve relations with other factions to stop my kingdom declaring war on theres.

Yeah probably best for them just to leave it out the game for now. But hey ho, hopefully they fix it soon.

.
Every other Kingdom makes an alliance and declares war on you from what I’ve watched. I don’t even progress the quest there’s enough Wars as is.

lol wouldn't surprise me.

I think the devs wanted to force constant conflict with the player but it's boring and feels way too artificial.
why didnt they just call the early access survival mode if thats what they are trying to make it.

Hopefully they sort out the food production scaling with prosperity. I lost most of my garrisons due to food shortages as prosperity was raising. I didn’t even notice until Makeb kept losing garrison a day after I was putting troops into it.

This game with high Charm and high Trade:

"Sell me all of your land!"
"Sure."
"Now, would you like to join my faction?"
"Erm... well... I dunno. I kinda like my current leige. We're buddies."
"Oh go on! It'll be fun!"
"Oh all right. Why not."
"Great! Here's one of your castles back."
"OMG! Thank you sir! You are so generous!"

And of course, the king whose Lords and lands I'm poaching doesn't give a hoot that I'm slowly eroding his kingdom...

Does anyone know of a mod that will allow me to travel to the restricted areas on the campaign map or reset hero characters on the map?

Basically, a clan leader for the Northern Empire is stuck half way up a mountain (no idea how). So I cannot reach them to interact with them. All I want to do is, battle, take them prisoner and release them back into the game world. They've been stuck there for pretty much my entire game now and its stopping me from destroying the NE completely.

Haha, yeah I'm hopeful that will be changed as the game develops. Right now if I plan on attacking a huge army I'll go round and try and poach as many of their clans prior to declaring war before hand to even it out a bit more.

Is buying Fiefs already in the game? I have noticed that option when trading with hero characters but its always kind of greyed out/unclickable and there are no fiefs listed under it even if the hero owns lands/town/castles etc. I just presumed it was coming in a future patch?

Same also applies to diplomacy when trading with a hero, there are no options there.

Had to start again last night. The latest update has killed my save game.

On the upside, I noticed they've stopped the strafe cheesing in tournaments. I'm wondering how though. I'd like to assume they improved combat AI. But I seemed to be taking damage last night even where I sidestepped my opponent's attacks, which makes me wonder if they just widened the player's hitbox?

Have you gone through the list of commands for the Developer Console mod to see if anything is useful? I'm sure I saw some there that allowed you to move AI characters to settlements.

Buying Fiefs is one of the higher tier Trade skills. Off the top of my head, I think it's third from top.
