Yeah both sets of brakes had sintered pads, I tried numerous types and brand of pads in mine, bled multiple times, even sent then back to Formula in Italy. Whatever I tried they still sucked
Well finally bit the bullet and bought a DH bike. I got 2nd hand Giant Glory 2011 for 1k.
Bike has a couple of stone chips on but other than that its in immaculate condition. Most of the bike has been upgraded to XO as well.

Got some new goodies in preparation for Coed y Brenin this weekend.
EDIT: Argh! I think the knee pads are too small. I even bought a tape measure to ensure that I was ordering the correct size

Looks brand new! Nice bike for the dough, always loved that glory frame.
Pretty much is, was the little things as well that helped - his friend works for SRAM which is why all the parts were changed. He also shortened all the cables and replaced all the bolts for titanium ones and looked after it for him.
Time for some uplifts
Everything I've read about them says that they're the perfect balance between comfort and performance. I will no doubt get a more substantial pair like the RaceFace Ambush for places like Aston, but most of the riding I do is at places like Swinley or Cwmcarn that don't warrant a heavy, uncomfortable pair of pads.

After a bit of help if possible, does anyone know what bearing i need for my cane creek 40 headset on my canyon spectral al 7.0 2014 bike?
i got told to get:
Cane Creek 40-Series ZS44-28.6 Top Assembly
Cane Creek 40-Series IS52-40 Bottom Assembly
But thats to replace my headset, not the bearings.. so would these be ok just for bearings?

Got to jump back onto a HT for the first time in years as my rear shock is somewhere in the service center, borrowing this from a mate for a ride tomorrow.. My poor bum, and no big jumps :'(
Never ridden a 29er properly before, test ridden loads working in a bike shop but that's it.
