Anyone here clued up on dropper posts? I'm struggling to know which Reverb is best for my large Giant Trance

Check the size of your seat tube on the giant site, decide what travel you want. Should be able to get away with the largest anyway I'd think.

Next time you try that, just shift your weight backward so that your arse is hanging over the rear wheel.

Yeah you do seem to have a bit of an obsession with them... did love mine, back in the day. Think it had something like 140mm travel. Hardcore DH bike man!

Love the jump attempt, but on a serious note don't attempt to jump if you're not confident handling smaller stuff like that. Get your a$$ hanging off over the back of the saddle, and your front wheel should naturally get a bit of air if you have some momentum.

Reverb fitted to my Trance with my first bit of Hope Bling

Not a huge amount of options for cable routing on this frame with the length of hose supplied.

Shame I've had to move my front shifter to get the switch where I want it, but I have to say I'm thinking of going for single ring up front anyway, Just worried it might restrict me on some of the climbing?

Ho re sheet! That front shifter is abit of a pain hey!

Go 1x10, if your legs are not man enough for it you can get a cassette range expander to go up to a 42t at the rear for a real easy gear

i cant see whats stopping the shifter going further left to be honest?

Any closer and the levers on the shifter hit the main body of the dropper switch and don't work. Shame, but kind of expected from what I read on the internet before buying.

I'm guessing switching to a 1x11 set up would be quite pricey? I'm not 100% sure on what I would need TBH.

Can't you put it the other way around, dropper remote to the right of the shifter? Pretty certain that's how mine is (without checking), then again it does look quite a bulky shifter.
