Mountain Biking

Screw it, Buy cheap buy twice!.

Exactly

Commencal or a canyon strive

These two would also get my vote Ske, though from your examples you give, the camber seems to be an oddball among those ones you mentioned. The Cube's pretty small too in terms of sizing (for me anyway, I like em big and long)

Are you sure you know what kind of bike you want (in terms of its bias)

Not booked yet bud, just rounding up the troops to see who's about. It's pretty far in the future though for a standard FOD trip booking :p

Probably not, if I'm honest. My last bike was a GT LTS 2000 and I've been out of the game for a long, long time. Still have my GT.. Albeit, hanging on a wall in my shed :)

I sat on that exact Cube Saturday (local shop - didn't get to ride it) and it felt pretty good - I'd probably go for the next size up if I was to get one (the one I sat on was 18" frame). On the other hand, I do like the look on the Canyon Strive.

okay the guys fast, but its the same video ive seen a million times before.

need more original videos in this flooded digital media age rather than just knocking the same old stuff out.

With Rockshox Pike, do they come really soft and you have to configure them how you want? My bike has arrived and they are very very soft

Mine are 150mm on a 26" bike, weight 75kg. Reading this is doesn't say I need a high pressure pump - http://www.mbr.co.uk/products/forks/rockshox-pike-5-ways-perfect-set-324890

When my mates have bought their bikes they didn't need to set the pressure up, is this just because they are different rockshox (one of them, XC, one Sektor and another Suntour something)

Its going to be a bit of a kick in the teeth if I have just spend almost £1200 on a bike and now I need to start buying pumps and things before I ride it

It's going to be a kick in the teeth, you need something similar to this.

I learnt the hard way too, aren't the sektor's coil forks? The pikes are air so that's why you need to setup the sag yourself.
