Everyone in the UK has no excuse to visit BPW.

What light are people recommending for dusk / night riding. 3 setting brightness or similar so as not to max out the battery on the ride to / from somewhere. Guessing LED is all the rage now? Circa £100-£150 budget wise.

Havnt been and probably wont anytime soon, simply because I cant plan far ahead enough to book the uplift early enough and i'm not travelling all the way there to push/ride back up or risk there being a free space as someone hasnt turned up.

I just turned up, and got aboput 5-6 uplifts, no excuse :p
 
Where do people buy tyres from? Have been recommended nextdaytyres but is there anywhere cheaper?
Want some new 650b Maxxis Minion DHF/DHR2 tyres with the 3C MaxxTerra EXO compound/thingy....
 
Cheers merlin - have you used them? I found that site not so long ago but never heard of them before today

Should have headed over there as it is open, they just waited till after bank holiday for the official date so it wouldn't get mullered over four days solid. Good track!
 
I can probably handle a week delivery time... how long do you need to leave a newly-seated / sealed tyre before riding on it?

Hmm there cheap was tempted to get one to pair with my HR2 at the front for France. Or just chuck another HR2 on the rear to replace the Ardent. The Ardent is fine, but it's washy on the dusty stuff here. I'd imagine a bit of mud it's going full on sideways.
 
Ive got a Maxxis semi-slick on the rear of my bike which came with the crossmax's. Good tyre in the dry, absolutely shockingly bad in anything remotely damp! Can see the ardent being the same tbh!
