Mountain Biking

Here ya go

A shot from the Man Cave and one on the back of the Fiesta. I'll take some action shots tomorrow :D

Anyone recommend a better car rack? The one in the 2nd image is a bit ropey, wouldn't want to drive longer than 10/15 minutes with it on the back. Don't think my Fiesta can accommodate a roof one either.

I've got a saris bones which I've been using for a month or so and it's pretty good!

Cracking photos and a cracking bike. How is it?

Thanks mate

Absolutely loving her coming from a Specialized Hardtail the difference is night and day :D

Slight disappointment is they managed to send her out without Invisiframing (which I paid for) so will probably send it back next week to have it applied and sent back (all at their cost) - I couldn't stand the thought of sending it straight back after a six week wait and the road trip all planned :)

I took the kids for a bike ride Friday and slung mine and their two bikes on my Saris Bones 3 - pulled by plod for obscuring the number plate and rear lights and ended up walking away with a fixed penalty fine :(

I don't have a tow bar :( what's the next best thing?

Edit: I see the Saris doesn't require a tow bar - my bad.

Balls. Having sorted the tubless out on the patrol during the week and was happy was holding pressure etc.. Just gone in the shed, one flat back wheel.. Fffnnnnfmfnggggh.

No offence but that's one of my pet peeves. Nothing worse than no being able to see someones brake and indication lights..

Oh dear. I've not had any issues but I'll have to double check mine. Kinda crap that the police showed you no compassion.

Free day at forest of dean if your quick enough to sign up - http://www.bellridefree.co.uk/

I had a thule roof rack and bike rack on my lexus which was ok, did a very secure job but in the summer the bikes would be plastered in dead bugs on a drive, all on the discs, stanctions, levers, grips, seat etc etc!

I've had a tow bar fitted and got a tule tow rack, much much better, although a beast to store.

It wasn't own fault - I had only ever used it with one bike on before and it's fine

Didn't realise how obscured everything was with three, descending sizes, bikes on :/

Made slightly worse by I was only going three miles along back roads but hey ho .....

I'm honestly thinking of retro fitting a tow bar and getting a tow rack or waiting until I get a new car and get one fitted. Three of us went to llandegla a few weeks ago and the guy who drove had one - expensive but a great bit of kit

Technically its 3 points per defect these days so depending how many lights were obscured I'd say he got off lightly (pun intended)

Great first DH day of the season yesterday. My wife finally got to ride the GT Fury I gave her for festivus.

New Bike :) (it's not brand new but new to me)

Done a few bits to it, Tech 3 E4's have been added, and swapped seat (it's further back since this photo). New powder coating. Might swap the cranks to something blingy and probably a 32T front ring.

Rode it yesterday (Lee Quarry) and a quick blast around Sherwood Pines before work this morning. Love it so far.
