Mountain Biking

I went to gisburn forest yesterday but it started to absolutely chuck it down and i got soaked through to the point i started shivering if i stayed still for too long so didnt try any of the trails and just cycled around the main road

Took the train to long preston train station and cycled to gisburn forest which is around 7 miles, on the way back the trains to that station got cancelled due to flooding so had to do an additional 14 mile bike ride to skipton train station

Was shivering on the train ride back, downloaded 3 weather forcast apps since but ill go better prepared with full waterproofs next time

Do want to visit again sometime in better weather

What area are you based in?

Gisburn is my favourite trail centre, even the uphill stuff is interesting but can also be easily bypassed if you just want to session the downs.
