Mountain Mods U2-UFO or TJ-07?

Mine has changed a bit now, got bored to death of waiting for the R600, ditched the Crossfire as it was just as pants as SLI and have a 8800GTX on the way. Hovering over the buy button for an EK Systems 8800 block but can't get the idea of the R600 being a monster when it finally comes out.......
 
getting there, there's a lot to do on these MM cases.

thnx for that public announcement, i'm sure we'll all sleep much better now :rolleyes: :D

in other news, i just realised i didn't get the 9 drive removable hdd rack nor the holes punched out where it would fasten. Instead i got 2 sets of 3 drive plates, the same as the ones they sell in their shop. I also noticed on baxters case that it doesn't look like he has got the holes punched either ...he also has the same black UFO as me but Clones white case does have the 9 drive rack.

because i planned on fitting my DDC+ at the bottom of the rack, as it is now i only have space for about 3 drives, not thrilled tbh. :(

I don't know if this is a new thing or not, i imagine they sell 10 black cases to 1 white so maybe clone's is older stock but either way their site explicity states the U2-UFO comes with the 9 drive removable rack so i have sent them a msg to see what's what.

heard back from MM and apparently various cases have come like this since july 2006 :eek: 1 exception is the white UFO , it's on their front page in the news but they haven't updated the product page. i guess 8mths isn't long enough for 10 mins of editing :(

a bit miffed as i would have ordered some extra plates with the case if i'd realised....oh well such is life i guess.

4hrs of leak testing = done

now onto some cable braiding and finishing up.

Im at a bit of a standstill for the time being as my wife has had to go to sussex to see her sister as she`s on life support due to burst thybroid`s, so i have to look after the kid`s.

I will get back with update`s when we are sorted out.
 
I'm actually hoping I get the drive plates instead of the rack coz it gives greater flexability for a dual loop tbh. If I get the 9 rack fancy swapping lol?
 
I put my raptor in a Silentmaxx enclosure, but have changed my mind as my raptor had a window so i plan to show it off,give me a mail if your after the Silentmaxx w3bbo it`s brand new all ready to go in a very nice blue.
 
I have 4 HD's (3 minimum) so I will need some form of mounting, we shall see coz its suggested that the case has been released from customs so will be sent out monday/tuesday. :)
