Just a wee update
I Ordered a few more bitts today, and i thought i would list what i have bought so far,and what old kit i plan to reuse.
MountainMods U2-UFO Horizon with 3 Big Window, chosen colour is Black Powder Coat.
MountainMods Acrylic Feet, the plain ones
MountainMods 5.25" Blanking Plates x2
Total for that little lot is a wallet thumping
£362.91
Next i ordered a new psu, because mine was a bit underpowered and not future proof enough.
Enermax Galaxy 850W EGA850EWL ATX2.2 Modular PSU
price of that was
£186.75
Next was the fans
6 x Sharkoon 120mm Silent Eagle 2000 Fans
x1 High Voltage Case Window Applique Kit
total for that little lot was
£69.70
Next fan grills
Now this i have looked everywhere, i cannot find any i like, i managed with help to find some black plain grills, but alas, only 5,i need 5 all place si looked only had a few in stock with no eta on new stock, so for now i ordered some plain chrome grills. x6.
Total for that is

Next i needed to add some colour
Again having problems with the colour i wanted green and the amount of stock.
so i had to source them out form two diff places.
x2 AKASA GREEN SINGLE COLD CATHODE KIT 12INCH / 30CM + SW
Total for them

x2 GREEN Cold Cathode Case Kit With 2 Light inverter AKASA
Total for them
£16.44
Im hoping with that sort of setup i can use two on the top portion and two on the bottom portion. and use the dual inverters both to run them, cutting down on inverters and less wires, (thats what im hoping to do anyhow)
SOmething pretty to look at, most cases have them so i thought i woudl get a lcd , Matrix Orbital MX432 LCD Display (Black Aluminium)
price for that little baby was

It was second hand but is in perfect condition, has two tempiture sensors and 2 fan controler wires included, as well as external usb and internal leads included.bargain
Becuase of the size of my new case i needed new longer sata leads and a new longer dvdrw lead. so today i ordered this little lot
x1 Akasa Rounded Ultra ATA133/100/66 IDE Cable (0.9m) - Metal Braided
x4 Akasa Serial ATA 100cm Silver Data Cable - Silver
I needed a new dvdrw drive so at the same time i ordered this
Pioneer DVR-112DBK 18x18 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter - (Black) OEM
And i thought while im at it i just as well upgrade my aged sata drives to new sata 2 drives with 16mb cache of course im going to be raiding them in raid 0
so i ordered 2 of these.
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB ST3320620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
Total for that little lot was
£198.77
Total for new pc rebuild is a wopping....
£891.46
I have spent a lot more than i ever dreamnt i would , i jsut hope it will be worth it.

x1 gb DDR2 667 of corsair value select and x2 DDR 2 667 512mb of corsair value select
Yes i know its not the best, but it does very well and is currently overclocked to ddr 2 800, not bad for cheap ram.
Hds
x2 Western digital 250gb 7200 8mb cache sata, cant rember the name of them they are about 3 years old now.
Sound
Creative labs sound blaster audigy 2 retail
dvdrw
Philips DVD8421(black bezel)
Graphics
OcUK GeForce 7900 GS 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail
Not the fastest card, will do i upgrade it, to something a lot better.
so ther eyou have it. a lot of money spent on it all.
The only real consern i have with the case, is i want to be able to split the optical drives on the left and right, i hope i will be bale to do that, i supose it depends on the distance between the conectors on the cable itself. i hope i have solved that problem by buying a longer cable.
anyhow thats it.
so people a word of warning to those who are thinking of buying one of these lovely cases, beware of th hidden costs involved...

I have been trying to find some decent 120mm fan grills, but cannot find any anywhere.
I am trying to find some like these, but have only found them in the US and the price will add up. Anyone know anywhere....
I am going to delay ordering my UFO case by about a week. Otherwise it is most likely to arrive while I am away
Oh well, will keep looking.....

Some folk have mailed me asking about the plumbing of the dual loop in the UFO so rather than reply individually via mail and until I can be bothered logging a project, here are a few (blurry- my camera suxor

I have seen them on a few places, yes they are a lot of money, but not what i wanted, if only they manufactuerd the same for 120mm as they do for 80cm ones.
EDIT: if you are orderiong a ufo from the uk, it can take up to 6 weeks to arive, jsut to let you know.

Found this fan grill m8 in the uk, it`s close to what you want.

I would try water as cooling, but a this has cost me enough already, i would need to spend jsut over another £200, unless osemone knows how i can get a descent setup realy cheap, then theres the matter of not knowing what i am doing, air cooling i do, water no lol, i would not have the first clue of where to start, lol.
just an update on mine, all 4 cathodes are now here, all fnas are here, window aplique is here, just waiting on my ocuk order to turn up in the moning, containing my new hds, leads ect, then its just VANTEC SLOT PROTECTOR KIT - Green UV REACTIVE MODDING
Multi-Purpose cable management or case cable Kit AKASA.
Then the main part the case lol.
