MR2 or MX5

well on the way back from rockingham today i've been to see some mr2 turbo's and have fallen in love with them, the power, the handling everything is so much different from my rev1 uk spec na.

looking at spending more than i originally though now, but looking at rev3's fresh imports.

loving the Blue(kinda candy blue) and black.

decided on selling the golf to add to the funds pot :D cant wait !!

Last RR day 236bhp. 0-60 @ 201bhp = 5.45s = L0rdmike's MR2  So I guess it'll be a bit quicker with an extra 30... ;)

but..... they aint as good looking as the 2 ;) lol

I agree... until the pop ups on both cars are up :p Then the MR2 looks ugly and the MX5 stays looking good!

There's a MR2 near me who never puts his headlights on for this reason, he resorts to putting his sidelights on with fogs instead

anyone taken a look at this one?? still trying to work out why so cheap!

It's a Rev2 (1993 at the latest), loads of import MR2 are incorrectly registered like this. I very much doubt it's really only done 16k miles either. It's also incorrectly advertised in the title as a 1998 car.

its sold anyway!! :(

going up to heathrow aiport tomo, so i might have a look around on the way back again :D but anyone know of any forsale around that area?

looks like i got £3000 to spend should be available to buy within the next 2 weeks :D

what should i be looking for wfor that cash? rev2 or 3??

Have a look in the 'For Sale' section on the IMOC forums

£3k should get you a good condition rev3 Turbo if you look hard enough :) I know of someone who was recently selling a relatively low mileage hardtop rev3 for £3250 :)

[Edit] Scrap that - my friend is still selling his but it's now up for £2995 - LINKY I have been in this car a number of times and can vouch for it! Jon has looked after it well!
