MR2 or MX5

I'm not really too sure about MR2 prices at the moment. They are all over the place it seems. When I bought my Rev 3 in June last year it was £5k but since I bought it prices dropped considerably.

Don't get me wrong, a Rev 1 will be fine if you treat it with respect but it will need more respect than a Rev 2+ needs.

i have never driven the MR2 Turbo, but have the N/a and the MX5

cant seem to find any more good look (decent colour) mk2 tubby's

ideally i dont want red, all but 1 of the cars i have owned has been red :eek:

i love the blue as well. watching one of those on ebay at the moment, but it finishs tonight, and i would rather look first

I'll keep an eye out on the various MR2 forums... I wouldn't jump straight in and buy one, there will be plenty around in the next few weeks. Might be worth holding on for the right one, and the right price

I would have got an MR2 if:

- I didn't have to ferry friends and family to and fro.
- I wasn't unsure how comfortable it'd be for a lanky git like me on long journeys.
- I believed I wouldn't drive like an idiot in one.
- I didn't think I'd end up wrapping it around a lamp post.
