Ms. Marvel

Sick of super hero crap now. It was OKish at first but enough is enough. Every story is the same as the last. I tried to watch the Spiderman thing but I really could not see why people raved about it. I thought it was infantile and tedious.

I think I'm getting superhero saturation.
I hit that point when they started doing loads of them, to justify doing even more Avengers Get Together films, really. I had high hopes for Doctor Strange, but even that turned out dull.
I have yet to see even a semi-decent Punisher film.

Superheroes have gone the same way as the whole Vampire/Werewolf/Zombie genre....

The series was good
I still haven't seen enough of it to be sure, but Berthnal doesn't really have the right look, IMO... Dolph tried, so I appreciate the effort at least. Despite an awful main film, Tom Jane absolutely nailed the attitude and atmosphere in the Laundry Day short film, but only Ray Stevenson had that 'dead inside' look.
Berthnal seems too young and, like Dolph and Tom, too small.

Damn they ruined that song, I liked that song....

Teen drama is for kids. Zero interest.

I was there after end game. It was the perfect time to stop for a few years. Not a character I’m remotely interested in. Unless it’s something with the original avengers cast or spider man I can wait for it to hit Disney plus if it’s a film.

I am not interested in whatever new avengers they throw together.
I was in the same mind set when the MUC started. I didn't even know anything about iron man or thor or Cap America. Once I found out all the films were linked in one way or another, around the end of phase 2, start of phase 3, I started to take notice and started to catch up on the story and watched the first lot of films and carried on from there.
this new set of series/movies might well be better than the Thanos story in the previous MCU. Who knows.

I hit that point after they undid all the good work Thanos did with his 50% reduction idea….Tried to watch Captain Marvel the other night and lasted about 20 mins before turning it off.
This i guess isn’t aimed at older types but the recent mini exodus of MCU actors does suggest Superhero fatigue is kicking in.

Same.

I'd seen Iron Man, but didn't start watching them all until after I had seen the Avengers in 2012.

Tomorrow:

Interesting it's crossing over with Obi Wan, rather than waiting a few weeks to fit into the gap before she hulk.

As a marvel and star wars fan the next 3 Wednesday's should be great!

and indeed a busy day for the easily triggered

I don’t have time during lunch to watch them both! I think it’ll be Obi Wan then Ms Marvel when I get home. Or maybe later than night. Are they doing two episodes tomorrow?

Sadly only one.

Initial reviews (going by the headlines alone due to avoiding spoilers) is good. Saw an article on digitalspy and also theverge.com

P.s. I have a colleague who goes and watches at lunch time as well. I just wait till i get home. All these Disney and marvel shoes have random length episodes at times anyway, so hard to plan a lunch around it!
