Ms. Marvel

Well, I watched it. It was about as good as I expected it to be...perhaps a tiny bit better. Main actress was decent and, yes, the comic effects were quite fun. Overall not that great though but I will check out the next one to see where it goes.

I enjoyed that. I know nothing of the actual comic but that was nice light hearted fun.

That hulk scene got a good laugh out of me. Love the comic animations in the background. Looking forward to more episodes

I quite enjoyed it, although I felt that it was designed for a younger audience, but rightly so. It should be.
I enjoyed the fact that it was different, and I enjoyed the Asian cultural theme, just like I had no problem with Into the Spider verse being a black kid, if anything I think they're better for it.
Really have to be a bit of sad case to find issues in something like this which really don't matter in the grand scheme of things. Wouldn't put it past 50% of Americans to be angry though, that country is a mess.

I'll give it a few more episodes and hope that being old doesn't hamper my enjoyment like it did for the second season of Raising Dion which was just unwatchable.

Enjoyed the second episode as well. Storyline is moving quite fast, maybe a bit too fast. Not expecting any major surprises as it's just an origin story to prepare her for her role in the Marvels movie next year.

Pleasantly surprised by this, went in with low expectations and felt justified for the first half of the pilot. Me and my wife are loving the cultural [in] jokes (so many resonate) :D.

I must confess, that is part of the appeal for me. I am sure indian/pakistani/bangladeshi people will enjoy that side of things. It's weird they only subtitle some foreign phrases though. Although I guess many of them don't translate well directly into English.

I'm sure a few of the cultural jokes went over my head but I still enjoyed the first episode. Will hopefully get a chance to watch the 2nd this evening.

Some amusing parts in the 2nd episode. Didn't expect the direction right at the end, interested to see where it goes. I don't know much about the character's role in the marvel universe. Cultural jokes have been hilarious.

Episode 2 also good and although I’m sure many of the injokes went over my head it’s still enjoyable. Department of Damage Control still acting like Gestapo I see.

Episode 2 was an abomination. What a massive drop in quality and a massive let down. Ep1 actually was reasonably ejoyable. Ep2 was one of the worst episodes of anything i've watched in a long time. I'm out.

Surprising really good, enjoyed both episodes. It is, as mentioned before, aimed at a teenie bop audience but I still enjoyed it.

The direction and art style is excellent.

Surprised your allowed to watch it. :D. It could be too violent.

Surprisingly quite good and entertaining.

There's lot of "this has bombed because it's got just half the viewership of the next highest viewed Marvel TV Show" videos out at the moment but I think they kind of miss the point in that, as something mostly aimed at the "Young Adult" audience, its was never going to be surprise box office smash (or TV version anyway).

I think Marvel will be aware that a coming of age YA based story, with a mostly unknown Hero, with an unknown teenage Lead actress probably won't do as well as something from the more established Hero's like Loki, Falcon, Wanda etc or with Hollywood Stars like Moon Knight with Oscar Issac & Ethan Hawke etc.

To be fair, Falcon and WS was fairly pants, Hawkeye was bang average and Loki had about 2 decent episodes.

The whole Marvel series thing on Disney has been mostly average. The previous Netflix series eclipse them all, though they were aimed at a more adult audience.

I like this so far, its fun trash.

I think the next round of series needs to introduce some team ups or stronger tie ins to existing heroes or IP. They need to start making connections.

Fixed for ya, it's average at best, we need daredevil level content again, the past few years of marvel ever since Endgame has been lackluster, specially the movies they have been rubbish and most of the TV series have been pretty jank as well.

Daredevil was 18, this is PG-14 or something. Its a family kids show. :)
