MSC Retires

What i dont get is, why is ok for Senna to crash into people and deliberately take them out, but Schumacher cant? both are as bad as each other on this.

Schumacher said he grew up looking at Aytron, and learnt from him

bensons loves sticking the axe in when it comes to schumacher every article from him is the same...

the comments section on his articles was disabled for days at one time because everyone was less than impressed with one of his articles

I guess a lot of people who have only seen his Mercedes days will remember him as the guy who tried to kill Barrichello ;)
and alonso as the "alonso is faster than you"
hamilton as the guy who couldnt beat a teammate in his own team so left

the history books will remember all that counts the opinion of "now" wont matter

What on earth are you going on about? Any chance of slightly more coherent sentences?

they were examples of what people who have only been watching f1 since 2010 would remember other drivers for.

i am saying the history books are all that will matter not peoples personal opinions from now.

no doubt thats dukes way of trolling because for some reason me and mr men seem to have upset him recently

Put that in your post next time then, it was just a random list :p

good riddance to him, often pushed other drivers off the track and got away with it, also recently where he drove in front of Hamilton on purpose

i know hamilton has a natural born right to drive at the front! form an orderly line next time michael! its good manners :D

If he wasn't punished for it then it wasn't wrong. Simple as. :D

as a certain red bull employee said the other day.

its the teams job to push the limits as far as they can get away with.
a drivers is the same.

if your no longer looking for the boundaries your no longer a racing driver your a journey man

There will be a lot of people who know little or nothing about his success in his first career and only know about the second one, so the overall reputation of him will be diluted.

Indeed. There are many people who are new to F1.
They see Rosberg (who doesnt have a great reputation) beating MSc year after year and assume that MSc isn't up to much.

All I can do is ask that they watch MSc in the late 90s and early 00's. The guy was awesome. Some of his wet weather performances were spectacular. Check out his first win, where he beat (in the wet) the all conquering Williams (Mansell took pole by 2.1s), at Spa (92).

As for his retirement, after being beaten by Rosberg so consistently, I think he realised that if Merc (or any other team), were to give him the best car on the grid, his team-mate may have been the one who would win the title and not him. I think this is conclusive proof that F1 is a young mans game. Even the best driver of all time (statistically), as a mature driver, could not compete against the younger drivers.
