MSI gtx 670 Power edition "none oc" edition owners thread

what you do mean bad feedback? From what I've read on here, it seems these cards are performing and overclocking much better than I would assume. Some aren't happy they paid the extra for the OC version, and in some cases the oc is worse/around the same.
 
No bad feedback it's a brilliant card but I am a bit miffed that it's not clocking or is it? Look in my above post.

Still weird I didn't get a manual or install CD though.

If your card is boosting to 1188 out the box I would say it's working as it should :)
 
Yer so am I being a complete t*at and reading the wrong bloody core clock?

If anyone else can confirm all is forgiven. Even if now I do look like a bit of a pleb! :)

Out of interest can you right click on the top bar of that gpuz window and then clik on read asic quality? What percentage does it give you?

Intersting. ASIC quality does very much indicate how good they overclock. Both the ones i have had have been 63% and only boosted to 1150mhz with zero overclocking headroom... (although i am still unsure as to whether i was just sent the same card back....)
 
I'm confused. In the main settings it now only boosts to 1098MHZ but on the sensor page it says 1188MHZ. I would be happy if that is what I am getting.
 
That's it I'm afraid. Anymore on the offset in Precision X and heaven benchmark crashes. I'll leave you guys be. I've hijacked the thread somewhat with my OC worries lol.
 
Power and volts already on max. If I put the offset any higher it won't finish a heaven benchmark test. Not sure why. Think it's all she can take?
 
Quickly chucked them in for a test. I'm very happy they are very quite and clock to over 1100 on their own. Will tidy it all up later.
