**MSI HD 7950 TWIN FROZR III BOOST EDITION REVISION2 IN STOCK!!**

I don't understand why people take a day off work for a delivery. Get it delivered to work perhaps? Also, if you take a day off as annual leave aren't you paid anyway? Where's the loss? Do you sit around in your pants waiting or did you do something else prodcuctive with the time?

Nothing special 3.00ghz I'm not an experienced oc'r. I don't find my computer slow at all though Q6600 has been a good CPU.

I've got too much cable clutter in my case (antec900) got 3 hdd

Looks like I'll upgrade my computer so I get ddr3 and maybe a new haswell cpu. Im thinking maybe get this GPU now try it and in a couple of months get the rest of a new system the haswell CPUs are meant to be arriving in June?

I had mine at stock 2.4GHz, due to my mobo being a asus P5N-E rebadged as a Packard Bell (The PC was a steal at the time, silly shop boy put the wrong price tag on it :D )

I bought a 6850 When I had a Q6600 and worked very very well (Its in my current system now), I think the 7770-7850 would be the sweet spot for it, also no harm in buying one now.

Back on subject, If this is a case of another bad product, what other manufacture would be best to go with, I'm thinking Gigabyte?

So it seems two people had problems in this thread. Is this just two vocal people with problems. Does anyone have one who is very happy with it?

Played tomb raider on mine last night everything maxed out looked and played mint, no issues as far as I can tell, temps around 47 with fans at about 36%, and no issues with noise coming from a gtx 570 twin frozr.

Can we find out from other owners of the new rev that are not having issues as all I'm reading on this thread are the ones that are having problems.

Returning this piece of crap, hits 80c under load and then the computer locks and reboots..

For a card that's runs "10c cooler" according to the box it's laughable, do MSI think refference 7950's run at 90c??

And then there's the noise, this piece of trash is noisier then my old refference GTX470 and that that thing was a hoover.

So it's too loud, too hot and crashes.......

What ever genius thought it was a good idea to set default core voltage at 1.2v is an idiot.

Sorry to hear of your issues with the card. Is yours one of the first batch I.e. non revised, if so why not rma for the new rev? Or has this put you off altogether?

+1, id still nab one if the general consensus is that they are cool and quiet, thread hasn't delivered yet

Yes its paid but I still have to be off :P Of course that I was doing something productive, that's obvious :D I'm not desperate to wait in a window lol :D

Yeh i want to hear from more buyers too if possible. The reports earlier in this thread put me off!

Ditto. I am going to order one for a friend who is working awkward shifts. If there any probs it can just go back under 14 return policy thingy (to tired to think or look up proper name :p).

Oh right, what are you playing to get temps that high and how long before your pc crashes?

Alan Wake crashed it this morning...

Even games that are light on the GPU will still push it to 75c+

It gernally crashes around 80c.

I am looking for a BIOS to flash the card to a lower voltage.

I've had the card since Monday

Ok, thanks. Like I was saying, played TR for about an hour and temps didn't go over 48 with fans below 40. Had to mute the game sound to check on fan noise and it was fine and to be honest I was in awe at the visuals in the game. Ill install crysis 3 and bioshock in the coming days to see how it fares then. I'll also give Alan Wake a go.

How are you measuring temps in game, are you running gpu z in background?

It's been measured in afterburner and gpu-z

Can you download your BIOS and upload it so I can try it on my card?

What does gpu-z say you're voltage is? Mines 1.23v under load
