What’s the purpose of the thermistor? Is it just a tc to show the temp at whatever area you leave the sensor end? Where is the temp displayed?
Yeah, it's exactly this. I've used one in the last couple of builds and had it somewhat half way between the top of the case and the GPU card, then used that in case fan profiles. Temp is not shown until a cable is connected, and is not not always listed in desktop utilities, but almost always available as a sensor for fan profiles.What’s the purpose of the thermistor? The image would usually fill the screen, you can see numbers on the right on the black space also.
So top, bottom, left and right sides are missing, when you load in its fine, its when you start to drill down into menus.
Wonder if its because I'm using an Monitor that's essentially a TV The Gigabyte FO48U.
Never had this issue with the Intel based MSI Z790 MPG Carbon Wi-Fi
I checked mine on that page an looks completely different, you seem to be zoomed in only seeing half the info. The numbers on the far right are a bit weird. I took a pic so you can see yourself. Gonna update the bios now and check it's still all ok.

This is a monitor Its the Gigabyte FO48UIt looks like a tv screen ratio problem, like it’s zoomed in. You have some sort of monitor to use during setup? My wireless mouse works with the dongle plugged in the front usb of case with no probs, not sure how to help with that
