MSI to offer 55% launch-day discount on P55 motherboards

I'll try powerstrip on the new install I'm sure it will sort it. I don't think I'll be able to game with the card, it's about as useful as a chocolate teapot these days but if I can just use it for the desktop I'll be happy until these 5870's come
 
Woohoo it arrived :D

Just got my gd65. I'm waiting for my i7 860 and XMS3 Dominator to arrive now :).

Quick question... Would you guys take the heatsinks on the board and put arctic silver on?

I guess the northbridge would be easy but under the other sinks? I think they cool the mosfets or something?)

Also, is there any difference between the two pci-16x slots? Can I put my gpu in the lower one to keep heat away from the core of the system?

I'd heard nothing at all, so I sent a web note and some nice people said that they're doing their best :) It's a fantastic offer, so I don't mind hangin on a few days :)

I don´t mind waiting either, but i am not going to belive that i actually got a gd80 before i have it in my hands ;), or at least an e-mail that it has been sent.

I am now looking at my XFX Radeon 4890, I7 860 and Corsair Dominator memorys. And my brand new Corsair 650w...
Its beautiful:cool:
 
Sounds like the bulk of the GD65 are in Monday.

Remember all you that ordered the GD65 are Guaranteed a board for the price paid.
