The MSI MEG Unify certainly doesn’t.
It ships with factory BIOS A.3

5900X is supported since BIOS 7C35vA73(Beta version)

That’s 4 revisions away (4,5,6,7)

It wont work OTB with ryzen 5xxx CPU's unless it has bios version 7C84v13 or higher, my recent one from ocuk came with bios 7C84v10.
It can be flashed without a cpu though, instructions are on MSI's website, or on you tube

Think this will be my go to board if I do upgrade from my ch6 for a new 5000 chip. Got my nephew a b550 gaming carbon and it was very nice to work on.

Naive assumption that a recent board would work. Clearly I shouldnt assume!

Any comments on the chipset fan noise for the X570 Tomahawk? I just bought one to go with a 5900X (if it doesn't sell out in 1 second)... but saw a few people say the chipset fan can get loud if you have a Gen 4 SSD (I have a SN850) so now I'm undecided.

Loud during boot, then is silent. Unless you're blasting the hell outta your drives, it wont turn on. It's a non-issue.

I've got 2 Gen 4 M.2's and I never hear mine after booting up, and that's not even that loud for the second it's on!

I just flashed 7C84v142 (new beta today) and can confirm the double/incorrect listing of SATA drives is gone on my system.
