Hi all,

Quick question, where do people buy their propellers?

I'm a total noob, so will be going through them and only got a few when i bought my other parts.

Will post pictures of my quad if people are interested? It's only a 250, with a 3D printed frame and a CC3D FC but for my first quad (other than a Q4) I'm happy with it.

Only had a very quick test today but it was to windy and i didn't feel safe trying anything other than a few inches of the deck, lol.

Thanks,

James.

My f550 hexacopter has arrived along with a devo 10 transmitter and receiver should have got here before Xmas but customs have had it since the 23rd only had the letter off them yesterday

Anyone using the MultiWii Pro with GPS from Hobbyking? I'm not sure whether I cannot get a GPS lock is because I'm indoors or if I've set it up wrong.

Edit, got it working now, but there's a lot of conflicting views as to how to set them up online.

I won't be flying the Inspire for a while. I fired it up in my living room and damn! there is a lot to learn. The app is incredibly deep. I can't believe how much control you have over the camera and other flight parameters.

First impressions:

It's incredibly well built. We're talking Apple levels of quality. The transmitter is heavy and solid. There are lovely details like the worm drive for the arms being made of metal and well sleeved cables.
There is no lag at all that I could perceive on the video stream.
The camera gimbal is incredible. I was throwing the craft around in my hands and the image just stays level. Far better than either of my other gimbals.
The Pilot app is very, very polished. Well laid out, clear menus, and loads of information.

All it all, I'm very impressed and I haven't even got it up in the air yet. From what I've seen, there is nothing else like it on the market. You can't even build it from parts. Even a craft with LightBridge wouldn't have the level of camera control, on-the-fly that this does.

If the image quality is a good as a GoPro Hero4 Black (and by all accounts it is close) then I'll be very happy. Even if it isn't quite there, the fact that I can control the camera's setting in the air means I'm more likely to get the shot I want without having to land, change settings, and take off again.

From what I have looked at the DJI Inspire seems like it has very little to offer for the money. Anyone care to tell me different?

Also what antenna should i get?

I can't use goggles as wear glasses due to a stigmatism

From all the reading i have been doing (and i may be totally wrong here) but the black pearl screen seems to be using the immersion frequencies and the boscam transmitter doesn't. someone more knowledgeable will be able to correct me though no doubt.

hi chaps, does anyone know why I'm getting an invalid battery message on my DJI phantom vision 2+

I have 3 batteries, which have worked fine for 2-3 months and suddenly the original battery produces the following error:
