The wires out of the motor. They are erm... fly-speck gauge.
Nice solid fix, came with the screen fixing bolt.

I will keep a look out tomorrow for gas solder. Im wanting more than the 40w i got at the moment then
On the subject of soldering.....
I use one of these for soldering pins on boards, esc's, joining wires etc. I like the fine tip.
I had a cheap gas one that I used for the PDB and XT60 connectors as it had a slightly chunkier tip. Sadly, the tip went and it seems you cant buy replacements so it just get used as a blowtorch now for heatshrink shrinking duties!
I suspect this will be purchased at the end of the month for my future soldering needs.
I'd love a proper Weller station but a bit pricey for the amount I'd use it.
Just don't fly it into a girl's hair. It's like an automatic dreadlock machine.
Let us know how you get on with it, especially interested if the iron cable is silicone. I already have the 50W Maplin solder station and while it's served me well and has done everything I've asked of it, the tips aren't all that great, the tip retaining collar is always coming loose and the iron cable is so stiff I'm always fighting it.I suspect this will be purchased at the end of the month for my future soldering needs.
