Multirotor, multicopter and quadcopter discussion - The Drone thread

Anyone know of a dual monitor mount? Struggling to find one for sale that's not part of a kit or something!

Sadly not I'm afraid, assuming you mean for both to go onto a tx?

Would you not be better off using a tripod/light stand if that's the case? Two monitors on a tx might be a bit heavy and unwieldy?

Well I got my 250 up in the air flying much better thanks to Ghandi's settings and help.

Having some issue's with it at the moment, On full punchout it flipped over forwards. 1 motor feels different to the rest when you spin it so I have ordered another 2 to swap it out.

Also bought a 12v regulator for my fpv camera and a new mobius, My gopro just doesn't sit right and it's flew off more than once already.

Waiting on the afro flash tool to come back into stock at HK so I can get BLHeli on my ESC's, They flash at low throttle and reading up says it's a sync issue.

I'm running 2300kv motors on a 1300mah 4s, 4 minutes sound about right for hooning it around?

What props are you using? 4 minutes sounds a little on the low side, but if it's lots of full throttle work then probably about right.

It could have been a de-sync issue that caused your inadvertent front flip maybe? I was under the impression desynchronisation was something that happened mostly during rapid throttle changes from low to high. I may be wrong though. I doubt it would have been the result of anything tune related so you might be right about the motor.

If you have an arduino board around, you can use that to flash blheli to the ESC's. I got a nano v3 off ebay for about £4 that worked brilliantly.

Well my camera and other bits arrived from HobbyKing but they sent me some stuff I never ordered, At first I thought they sent me a duplicate package and with what was inside I wished they had!

HobbyKing® 8mm Silicon Rubber Bungee Hi-Start Cord (UK Warehouse) Is what I got.......What am I supposed to do with that ? :D

or

both pricey options but you get what you pay for. The HH ones have a lifetime guarantee too.

There is a chap called Gav who makes them on the MRUK forums, but I have no idea what he charges.

Some people like these....

Thanks think I'll give fat sharks a go

Can someone give me a guide as to what I need to add to the following to get FPV

Running my Q450 quad, got a go pro 3+

Do I need a seperate small battery for the FPV transmitter? Can I use my existing 4S batteries? (thinking I need a voltage regulator?)

Thinking -

GoPro Hero 3 to FPV Transmitter Lead - 200mm
Boscam 5.8GHz Cloud Spirit Circular Polarized Antenna Set RP-SMA

Tx/RX - options please?
Screen/googles??

Sensible wife friendly budget

Im using a fatshark 250w tx on my 250 and an ImmersionRC 600w on my tri.
Fatshark predator v2 goggles.
I used a GP2 for my fpv cam on my tri but have put a sony super had camera on my 250 and use a mobius to record. I prefer the 2 camera option now.

A monitor would be the cheaper route but goggles are just fantastic.

As for a second battery it depends if your tx can accept 4s, my tx's do and I use a filter to eliminate noise, something you wont need with a second battery. If you use an fpv cam you wil probably need a voltage regulator.

Not been out in a week or two, but setting a side some time now at home to migrate over from Baseflight to Cleanflight.

Will have to test it out in the field with some recommended settings.

Need to order a 2 position replacement switch for my taranis too.
