My ESC's have got the usual signal and ground wires. Where on the Diatone V2.2 PDB can I place said ground wires? I'd rather not cut them at the base and have only signal, as the ground is wrapped around the signal, shielding it essentially.

Thanks

You'll be fine :) 3S soon seems too sluggish!

As for the ground wire do you have a pic? If it's a PDB you should have ground next to where the signal goes in?

Asked a youtuber renown for the electronics side, he said place the ground on the negative terminal for the ESC power. Tested with one ESC. All good, all now wired up and working fine :D

I'm slightly worried at having gone straight for 4S lol.

If you're really worried, limit the travel adjust on your throttle curve so it only gives out 75% throttle at the top end.

That way full stick will be 75%, going linearly to 0% as you drop the stick.

Video guide if you happen to have a Taranis. Principle is the same on all radios:

You might as well learn on 4s. You don't have to fly at full tilt the whole time and the extra power is great for pulling yourself out of sticky of situations, like punching out over trees.

When you're under the goggles, 3s seems quite slow if you're in an open space.

Just keep calm and breathe!

I thought I could limit in CleanFlight? I was intending on assigning one of the switches (3 stage one) to different levels. Such as up = 100%, middle = 75% and bottom = 50%.

Is that possible?

I niece you may be able to....think you have the option is betaflight....bit of a faff though ?

Anyone going to the Commercial UAV show in London next week? I'll be there on Thursday wondering about the exhibition - shame DJI don't appear to have a stand this year but then again their stand last year was pretty small and didn't have much to look at - would've liked a Matrice 600 to take a look at up close!
