Muse at Wembley Stadium (16th + 17th)

Fantastic gig :) (and The Streets were better than expected too!)
Was sitting in the North Stand towards to stage end so had a good view of the stage. It was awesome seeing everyone on the pitch jump up and down when Nights Of Cydonia kicked it :D.
The song list was cracking but a few more from Showbiz (as already mentioned) would have been great.
I think I'd say it was better than the Wembley Arena concert last year but only because everything was bigger. Looking forward to seeing it on DVD.

Also, I drove there and there were absolutely loads of parking space outside Wembley Stadium.

I could go again today, as my mate still has one standing ticket left but I think I'll just wallow in the awesome gig from last night!

They had 4 seated yday and now there are going to be like 12 of us going today with that one ticket left :o

The bit at the front of the pitch filled up before anyone went onto the rest of the pitch. I don't know but I would have guessed it was for anyone on a first come first served as to who gets in.

Great night, and this is the 6th time I've seen Muse now! Wish they'd cut out the Absolution songs, they are boring live imo. Great to hear a few songs again for the first time in a while; Unintended, Micro Cuts and Citizen Erased were all a bit special. The singalong for Feeling Good was ace too. :D Was just gutted I couldn't get one of those bluey Muse Wembley shirts, surely they'd figure in demand for what was obviously going to be the most popular?! They'd sold out at 5!

Just had a call from my mate who was there today and he's been ejected for crowd surfing and they ripped off his wrist band and took his ticket and apparently the guy was saying to him that they could get him banned from the stadium for it

I know a guy who's a steward there (he's working there tonight infact) and will ask him tomoz at work but if anyones got any views on that then i'd be interested to hear - my mate really doesn't want to get banned !!

Went on Saturday night and it was amazing as ever... The Streets were highly entertaining too :D

Dirty Pretty Things were shockingly terrible :/

And I think the boys had an attack from their stylist ;) looking uber shexy all of them... including the glitterspray in Matt's hair!

AMAZING GIG!

Though the Stadium felt smaller than I thought it would be :/ and the walk to the tube station was a nightmare, though saying that there was no trouble :)

BB x

did anyone make a mental note of the songs they played on both nights?

wouldnt mind keeping a copy of it.

I had an excellent time. first stadium gig.

aggree on the DPThings, didnt like it one bit. thought the sound was rather off (PA's like that need ramping up to sound good, and they held it all in reserve for muse)

was suprised to see empty seats as well.

beer was average, food was cold. but ultimately its all about the music, which was worth it.
and only a 20quid cab back to chiswick, which was nice.

Who were the group before The Streets on the Saturday? We got into the stadium after they'd started, and was there another group on before them?

So how long was the walk and wait for trains after???

it was dirty pretty things.

didnt get to see the band before them.

the walk out of the stadium was alright, well policed, and they stopped the station from getting mobbed! :)

we walked straight past it, into a naff pub that had karaoke on, got a beer and got them to call a cab. 5 minutes later we were outa there!

I got back last night from my weekend in London and going to the Saturday night gig. We didn't really bother with any of the support acts so we arrived just as the streets where finishing (thankfully :p)

Muse where just fantastic, I'm so glad that I decided to go worth every penny. Wembley is stunning venue, perfect excuse to get back down for a footy match :D
