My 9800X3D Jonsbo D41 build

ill just plant a seed here.... cooler would look better in black haha
Yeah i know, that Noctua is defiantly going, was waiting for D15 G2 in black later this year.

but tempting to get the new Phanteks AIO for visual consistency.

But I've fallen in love with air cool again.

Yeah, waiting for the D15 G2 Black chromax, supposedly out 2H 2025.

Or go with refreshed Phanteks AIO. My D15S is just not cutting it (Stock 9800x3d)

Looks great. Probably not a good idea, but I force fans to run at a lower RPM to prioritise low noise over performance...

I’m definitely a convert to bottom-to-top intake/exhaust. Went through a couple of normal front-to-back cases recently and both noise and thermals were worse off. Only issue with my AP201 is limited fan size for intakes on the bottom, the D41 looks spot on.

Makes sense. Only reason for front to back is to pull air over the disk(s) mounted in the front of the case. Get rid of those disks and there's no reason to do so....and since heat rises, it's bound to be more efficient to flow bottom to top.
