Your case is probably ok, but as you still haven't posted the temperatures of your components we can't say with any certainty. I think you should post said temperatures.

The antec 300 is nice enough, but not really a bargain at its current price.

PSU and cpu cooler fighting over the same air, especially since you have so little intake airflow, will mean high cpu temperatures and a reasonable chance of a dead psu. Worst case of it drawing air from the rear of the graphics card is you'll have high cpu temps and your psu will be fine. Again, the lesser of two evils
 
i'll happily post the temperatures of my components, problem is i have absolute no idea how to find out what they are ! anyone able to help ? sorry for being such a noob
 
thats with the case completley open btw (both panels off...) so im guessing it would be much worse with them on ?

maybe i put too much thermal paste on ?

those temps were also taken just after i had been playing rfactor for about 30 minutes
 
ok just tried it again after playing some cod and the gpu core is now at 59 (peaked at 61) and the cpu cores are all around 50

after about 5 minutes they are now back down to what they were before
 
those temps seem ok considering the CPU is overclocked. I would start to worry when the CPU hits 75 or the graphics hit 80-90.

have you done anything with the cables yet?

nah not yet, i need to get some stuff to tie them up first and i also don't know if i can be bothered to tidy them up if there is a chance i might get a new case... still not sure whether i should bother or not.
 
Not so great, those aren't load temperatures.

Run intel burn test alongside furmark (google for either) and turn them off if temps of card or cpu make it near to 70 in the interests of safety.
5 minutes is a long time to get back to idle temperatures.

Tidy the cables. If you end up changing anyway it'll be good practice. If you don't, it can make a significant difference to temperatures

As Jon has said, you temps will drop VERY quickly once there is no load applied.
Do as Jon suggests and run Intel Burn test or prime with furmark for a while and see what the temps are.
Good cable managment will also help temps (if thats the issue) greatly as it will increse airflow within the case.
