My first project log...

Just to clarify, would I have any problems with the loop setup I have in mind as the res is AFTER the pump in the current layout? I might be able to put the pump at the bottom of the case, depending on the D5 + tops phsyical size if that would be any better?

I would put rthe pump after the res, but the current set up is fine with a T line :)

Understood,

Added some MX-4 to my order due to the waterblocks not coming supplied with any. RJs told me that they have been dispatched to him, so probably get my kit around next week sometime, although next week for me is mental due to 3 harsh exams!

Due to that, won't be assembling anything until the weekend most likely!

Just noticed the daily deal so just ordered some more of that instead to fill up the empty DIMMs :O

Comes friday 20th :)

Also ordered myself a good set of screwdrivers so I can remove and replace screws without damaging them, also comes next week :)

The T-line is a bad idea mate. Ideally you want gravity to do the work for you in supplying your pump with fluid hence why the pump should go below the res. I'd recommend locating the pump anywhere on the midshelf or in the bottom section. If you must place it in a bay then at least try and place it in one of the lower ones.

Filling, bleeding and emptying the loop as you currently have it configured is going to be a complete PITA.

I'll see where I can fit that pump of mine when it arrives and work it out from there. Filling is gonna be a pain in the rear regardless of where I put the pump though sadly -.-
