My journey out of obesity

Nice work Tom. I've put myself on a diet and exercise routine too. Christmas 09 I was 17st and managed to get to 15.5st. Unfortunately I've allowed myself to get back up to 16.5st and need to lose a stone for a June wedding.

This thread and your journey has certainly motivated me more.

Good to hear I'm providing some motivation :)
Quick tip to drop your bf% by a few % in a matter of minutes, if your hairs getting a bit long get it chopped.
I always look leaner in the face when I've got my hair nice and short. :D

All good this week, weight loss has finally slown down to more what I would expect.
Weights are slowly creeping up in the gym as well :)

Bugger I missed my last session of last week due to work so plan on doubling up today for a nice big session, only problem being I thought I was in uni at 1 but I've just checked and its at 12 so looks like I'm going to have to squeeze the session in tonight rather than this morning :(

jsut to keep the thread going (as I was motivated by a thread like this)

I now do low carb 6 days and have 1 day off (or have done since xmas)

loosing weight much more slowley now...

almost down to 123KG (down from about 148/149 6 months ago),

still not getting many cravings, if I do I fill up on chicken and fizzy water!

I find the day off gives me something to look forward to so I dont break the diet but half the time after I have eaten some ice cream or cake I realise it was not really that nice...

my main meal usually consists of a massive bowl of salad with meat and 1000 islands dressing.. I look forward to it every day...

Nice work mate, yea I like to have a cheat meal at the weekend nothing too crazy although this weekends one was a little dirty even for my liking :p

Had a quick weigh in this morning, didn't have time for my usual measurements due to having to get to an early lecture.
I'm sitting at 218lbs which is 2lbs up on last week although I feel from the mirror I've leaned out, it could also be due to a bit of a dirty Friday and Sunday last week.
Had a massive cheese and meat filled pasta bake on Friday then my house mates g/f baked a cake that she had been promising for an age so it would have been rude not to indulge and it was amazing cake.
Ah well been back on it this week, managing to get all my sessions and food in around various lectures and tutorials which gets me some funny looks cramming in my PPWO meal while waiting for the lecturer to arrive.
Planning a Nandos half chicken for my cheat this week, which actually fits pretty well into my macros so isn't wholly a cheat but should feel like one mentally.
Anyway enough babble from me for this week :D

Fat loss seems to have stagnated over the last 2 weeks sitting at around 215lbs down from 234lbs, so going to sit down and rearrange my macros to see if I can kick it off again.
Along with starting to add in more cardio where my schedule allows.

Well just had a phone call from the hospital to tell me I missed a pre appointment for my shoulder op that was scheduled for the 1st March neither of which they bothered to contact me about.
On the bright side it did mean they had the change to tell me about a physio appointment on Monday so I'll pop along to that and see what they say, its good timing on their part as my shoulder has been niggling me slightly for the last week or so.

I'm planning on ruining it all tonight by eating some family amounts of southern fried chicken and then punishing myself with a big leg workout followed by some cardio in the morning :D
