My new Cab

Utter gash, hate the colour, hate the model. But that's just my opinion of course.

But a damn good price for something that a *lot* of people like and enjoy, so who am I to say if it's a horrible car?

Spent a few hours cleaning and treating this and that, loving poorboys interior dressing ooooo the smell so nice, guess what I found only neons yes neons tucked under the front and rear bumpers :p I might go proper retro and get them working :D

Don't, otherwise i may feel the need to set fire to it!!!
:D

Looks very good for a 20+ year old car.

My XR2s rusted faster than I could drive, and thats when they were 7 years old.

A grand seems ok for a wee nostalga trip. Not a huge fan of the old XR3is, but I did lust after RS Turbos when I first started driving.

Had one of these many moons ago only in the less gay blue colour, or was it the gayer blue colour :o , that does look exceptionally tidy for the money. Just need to drop a turbo lump in it :D

I have to say that the car looks in fantastic condition!

However, it looks absolutely horrendous and unless global warming hurries up a bit I shall never understand soft-tops in the UK.
Belongs parked on the street on some council estate driven by a burger flipper with a burberry hat.

Love how it has turned into a gay thread :D

Congrats on the purchase ignore the rude comments, as long as you're happy 'n all that

Not overly fond of this shape, but for a grand that's good going as the interior looks pretty mint. If it's mechanically sound then i think you have got a pretty good deal.

Rover 216 Cabriolet with the twin cam Honda lump would be a good shout on a sub £1k 'vert.

Scene tax... Lol not on a tidy XR Ford for 1k its not. What an overused phrase thats turning out to be. Bet you wished your Volvo had desirability... Sorry 'scene tax' so you could sell it. Of course you would sell it way below MARKET VALUE as a stance against 'scene tax' wouldn't you?
