To be fair you were warned against building this silly willy-waving rig early on, and went ahead anyway, then you were warned againsTR-SLI and went ahead anyway, you've already had to buy a new case and quelle surprise TRI-SLI isn't working and you're getting BSODS....

A fool and his money are soon parted...

I think perhaps you were a little over ambitious to be fair. Sorry I can't help with the BSODs I'm afraid. Aren't you tempted to just get a normal (albeit high end) set up with 1 or 2 graphics cards and save yourself all the hassle? I don't blame you for trying what you have if you can afford it but it was asking a lot for that lot to work without any problems let's face it. Anyway I hope you get it sorted to your satisfaction one way or another, I'd be frustrated too!

has no one else had issues with the NVLDDMKM.SYS blue screens ?

Come on guys please help !

I had the same problem - after spending forever trying everything...like resintalling the drivers - disabling UAC etc etc....I found out that Vista was the missing link.

When I reverted back to XP everything worked again.

I suggest giving the OS another fresh install, if that fails, run XP instead - that should solve the bsod

p.s ignore these people who are making silly comments

thanks mate, yeah i agree it is most definately vista which is causing the issue but i dont want to go back to xp as i bought a legit copy of vista 64 lol so that would be a waste, ah well i guess its either roll back to xp and have nvidia or get ati and stick with vista, although i know ati have the same issue also... www.nvlddmkm.com helped quite a bit at least and knowing that im not alone helps lol thanks for your support mate.

People on this forum posting stupid unhelpful comments make me laugh as it just becomes obvious you are jealous plain and simple and also that you did not read my post stating that i get BSOD's with 1 card let alone 3 so saying that its my fault for expecting too much and trying to run TRI SLI is just stupid.

Anyways thats enough of that, thanks to everyone else for their advice and support ill have a sleep on it and hopefully have a better idea of what im going to do tomorrow.

Dude srsly get a life lol and stop using the same quote "A fool and his money are soon parted..."

P.S ill be tuning into the antiques roadshow again this week with hopes of seeing your rig again.

Hey Turboduck,

Sorry to hear about your issues, don't give up mate I'm sure with a little patience some help and assistance your rig will be running smoothly.

I think you mentioned you were on the 182.x series Nvidia drivers? it maybe worth downgrading to an earlier version? There is normally some good advice and help on the nvidia forums. I have been lurking there for awhile as I am testing VDPAU on my media centre box (running linux and mythtv). And there is normally posts directly from the nvidia driver developers. You might get some better help and guidance by posting there as I'm sure they will be interested in your setup.

Here is a thread I noticed describing the dll problem your having and latest post was someone getting multiple BSOD's after upgrading to latest driver.

Let us know how you get one fella - don't give up ;)

1. At least my rig works!!! :D

2. I haven't just wasted over a grand on cases that aren't big enough for silly-Tri-Sli, and in general completely OTT hardware becuase i want an e-peen rig! :D

3. At least when i built my rig i knew what i was doing, and i researched the parts, and got the best prices :D

4. Why would anyone be jealous of a fool who wastes money like a drunken sailor, patently doesn't know what he's doing, doesn't have a set-up that works, and has ignored all the advice given to him and ended a week later with BSOD's he has no idea how to fix! :D ??????????

Anyone with any PC building nouse would have made sure the case he inteded to buy would be big enough to accomodate TRI-SLI - that's rig 101 son, - "will my case be large enough for my proposed GPU set-up?"

"Simples" ;)

I'll be tuning in this week to see if you have a rig that works after spending over 2K.

:D

Thanks for your help dude appreciate it I'll check this out some more later today when I get in from work, I don't want to give up as this is what its all about :D I enjoy all the hassle as it all becomes worth it when u have a kick ass rig, if it all fit together first time it wouldn't be challengng or any fun :P

Although the longer I faff around I feel the harder it will be to get a refund that is my only concern.

Thanks again dude

seriously give up.

my rig works too and cost under half what ducks did but i'm not sat here slating him for what he's spent his money on.

quite the oposite and wish i knew enough to help him solve his issues with it.

if you have nothing constructive to say leave this thread alone.
If i wanted to read petulant jealousy i'd have tuned into the forum on cbbc
