Man of Honour
not had anything come through yet
I have'nt updated since my OP!
Anyway, I got up to £650, then blew it all on a tennis match. It hurt.........a lot.
Gonna start again though at the start of the season, possibly look at some Olympics bets as well.
Gonna have a go at this, seems pretty interesting. Something to do every morning anyway. Who's the best bookie to go with? Bet 365 seem pretty good.
Betfair is best for low odds, as done on exchange basis.
Send me a trust and I'll give you a referral. Both get £25 that way too
Nearly up to £400, only betting about £100 per game at the moment. So only getting £1 profit, few friends started at the same time but deviated from the plan and lost it all. Only one still going, I'm ultra careful and check past statistics from both teams etc.
Not bad 300% profit in two weeks.
I was probably up about 4k in total that i'd taken out (although i wasn't really following the rules)
The last couple days though it seems that as soon as i bet on a game the other team score and mess it up so i've given up for a while as i ended up losing quite a bit!
Sorry I didn’t reply. I tend to aim for bets around 1.1 with about 5 minutes to go on teams winning. Bet around £90 and if I have about 4 on the go then I can make quite a bit quite quickly. Obviously theres the odd one that loses but I’d say that less than 1 in 10 did lose which given the odds works well.
I’ve also had the odd higher odds bet, such as £100 on City to win the Charity Shield who were about 2.7 at the beginning of the game. However there are times when I’ve been foolish and made quite a biggish loss and then tried to win it back quickly on risky bets and ended up making an even bigger loss. Very foolish betting which I know but sometimes impulse/annoyance takes over.
Yesterday had a nightmate. Put £100 on Brondby reserves at 1.12 who were 2-0 up after 14 minutes. They ended up losing 5-2!! And then later on I bet £70 on Oldham who were 2-0 up and they ended up losing 4-2
